Making Words

Children are encouraged to explore words, letter-sound relationships, and letter patterns through Making Words. This fast-paced approach to combining phonics and spelling includes 160 hands- on activities, as well as guidelines for creating your own treasury of lessons. Your students will delight in using each lesson’s designated letters to make 12 to 15 words, beginning with short words and working their way to longer words. And they’ll be eager to make the final word, which includes all of the letters. A wonderful tool for strengthening spelling skills!
