Word Express

Ideally, children learn new words in their home, school, and community environments.
When this doesn't happen, intervention becomes necessary, and Word Express has been designed to fill precisely that need.

This thoughtful program has taken the basic 2,500-word expressive vocabulary of successful lst grade children, divided it first into 10 levels, and then into 5 familiar domains: domestic, leisure, commerce, academic, social. A picture library illustrating each noun, verb, and modi-fier is indexed to the vocabulary. It's logical, it's informal, and it works easily into any classroom structure.
