It's Just an Expression

Idioms occur in our everyday reading and communication. It’s Just an Expression! is designed to help special needs students identify, understand, and use everyday idioms.
120 common idiomatic expressions are presented in 12 reproducible lessons. Each lesson provides a fun and interesting passage that uses the idioms in context. Students then work to correctly identify and use the idioms in sentence completion and written response activities. Teachers can use these lessons to enhance students’ understanding of idioms in the English language. Appropriate for all ages. 4th grade reading level.
