GAME—
Like the Real-World Social Skills curriculum the game features more of the everyday social situations and issues that students encounter. This game covers the same 12 social skills as Real-World Social Skills.
The game board has 12 circular spaces, each representing a social skill. Twelve draw cards correspond to each space. Four “wild cards” add an element of surprise to the game. A player draws a card and the teacher reads a question or preseents a role-play situation from the Teacher’s Guide. The student responds and places the draw card on the correct space. Game play continues until each draw card is chosen or until the teacher concludes the game.
TEACHER’S GUIDE—
With 40 questions for each social skill, plus “wild card” questions. Questions are leveled for basic and higher-level play. Also includes alternatives to game play.
Game includes: Game Board, 16 Draw Cards, Game Die, 6 Playing Pieces, and the Teacher’s Guide.
